My name is Stan, and my passion for games began when I first held a Game Boy Advance, and it has only grown since then. Playing games with friends as a kid and enjoying immersive single-player experiences until this day have solidified my love for the gaming industry. This desire is what drove me to enter the game industry, where my aim is to one day create captivating stories and experiences that entertain and amaze players all around the world. I want to build worlds where players can be whatever they want and have fun, whether it is alone or with friends.
I started my career as a programmer, developing software systems and applications for various hardware. While I enjoyed programming, I felt something was missing. I thrive on creativity, and I love bringing stories to life with visual elements that convey emotions and feelings. Entertaining people and providing them with joy, even if it is just a smile, is incredibly fulfilling for me. So I achieved a degree in Game Development from Hanze University of
Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
During my studies, I not only became a skilled game programmer across different game engines but also a skilled 3D artist in several software applications. I attended Shawnee State University in the United States, where I majored in game art, which gave me the ability to create game-ready assets. Following that, I interned as a Unity Developer and 3D artist at Blackout Games, a sports manager game developer in New Zealand. There, I made valuable connections, contributed to a released game, and engaged with the game community, all of which clarified my career aspirations.
Now I am eagerly looking for a new challenge to help me grow in my career. I hope to continue to develop games and entertain people. I am enthusiastic about learning what the industry still has to offer and am excited to meet and collaborate with others. The game industry is a global community that I am passionate about, and I am excited to contribute to it. I am actively seeking opportunities with a company where I can grow and help create amazing gaming experiences. I would love to discuss how my background and skills can benefit your team. Please feel free to reach out to me for a conversation.
